Dr. Chung Ming Wai Christy invited Mr. Ares So, Managing Director of Standard Chartered Hong Kong Private Banking as our keynote speaker at the “Workplace Culture Sharing: China-Hong Kong in the Era of AI” workshop on February 6, 2026.
Ares has over 20 years of experience in wealth management and private banking. He explained the core areas of private banking services. These include customized asset allocation, wealth inheritance and planning, financing and loans, and tailored services as well as the differences between Mainland China and Hong Kong Workplace Culture.
He also discussed the applications of artificial intelligence in the banking sector. This was particularly focused on private banking, leading to engaging discussions with the students.
The event improved students' understanding of banking operations and the role of AI in the workplace. It aims to help their career development and enhance their competitiveness.
